Highlights from AndroidmakersFR x Droidcon Conference 2023

The AndroidmakersFR x Droidcon Conference 2023 was as always, a fantastic event for mobile developers to meet and learn about the latest trends in the Android development community. In this post, we'll share some highlights from the conference, including our experiences with our Dependency Injection framework, Koin, meeting some members of the JetBrains team, and introducing our new platform Koin Cloud_Inject (now in closed beta).

We had such a lovely time attending the AndroidmakersFR x Droidcon Conference 2023. It was the first time our team attended a conference together. It was fun, and interesting, lol.

The speakers were great and engaging, and the networking (I hate this word) opportunities were just amazing.

We received a lot of positive feedback from so many of you about Koin DI! Many developers shared their experiences with Koin and how it has helped them streamline their development process. As you can imagine we were just thrilled to hear such positive feedback. We had our Koin 3.4 & Koin Annotations cheat sheet at hand, with some cool Koin stickers (if we do say so ourselves lol).

One of the highlights of the conference was chatting with Hadi Hariri & Pamela Hill of the Developer Advocacy team at JetBrains. I'm annoyed I didn't ask for a pic with Pamela, but maybe in Berlin in July 🤞🏾. We shared our experiences with Koin and discussed potential collaborations in the future 🤟. Their support is so important to us.

Introducing Koin Cloud_Inject

During the conference, we also announced the closed beta launch of Koin Cloud_Inject, our new developer platform. Koin Cloud_Inject is a platform that aims to provide developers with a deep understanding of their application's architecture behavior, eliminating the need to invest hours in understanding it in production. With Koin Cloud_Inject developers can proactively monitor their architecture and obtain valuable insights into its complexity, structural issues, and performance. This will allow them to optimize their applications for maximum efficiency, reducing the risk of downtime and ultimately ensuring a seamless user experience.

We received a lot of interest from attendees who were excited about the potential of Koin Cloud_Inject and were eager to try it out.

Overall, the AndroidmakersFR x Droidcon Conference 2023 was a great experience for us. We had the opportunity to learn from our peers, meet new people, listen to user experiences with Koin DI, and introduce Koin Cloud_Inject. So, as you can imagine we're exhausted this week.

The next stop for us is Droidcon Berlin in July. Hope to see the Android development community out in full force there in just a few weeks
