Who is using Koin ? A survey feedback
Koin is a dependency injection framework widely use globally. Nevertheless, as Maeven central downloads are anonymous we were curious to understand who are our users.
Let’s share some data and the survey results then 🙂
🌐 Global footprint: 130 countries users
📥 +4 Millions downloads per months (all package included)
👋 +80 000 unique visitors per month on our tech website: insert-koin.io
🧐 Which version are you currently using?
Most of users are following the update (survey was done just after 3.2 release), which is a good sign of an active community. “Only” 12% are still on 2.X versions. If any help to migrate, let us know 😉
🧐 In which market does your company operate?
We have pretty much every sectors here. Nevertheless, some remarks:
- banking and fintech are over-represented in the answers 🏦
- some games companies 🎮 are presents but under-represended in that pool, would be great to have more feedbacks from users, please contact us if you are in this field 🙏
- Great use in streaming applications to be noticed
🧐 What is your Android dev team size?
From litterature, we found that average team size is 3 in the industry. Interesting to notice that pool answers are showing a relative higher size in average, with a significant part of big team!
🧐 What is your company size?
This is to illustrate that the answers are pretty well spread with one third of 100 to 999 employees size.
🧐 For how long are you using Koin?
Really nice to see that once tried, Koin is staying the DI solution for a long time! It is making us proud but also in duty to constantly improve it to keep this high retention figures
🧐 At what stage are you using Koin ?
Answers are pretty clear, Koin is on production for most of users who answered the pool.
🧐 Do you read blog articles related to Koin ?
