From Home to HQ: Kotzilla's Own (little) Office

It was only a year ago that Arnaud & Michael left their (paying) jobs to embark on an incredible journey, one that some might (rightly) call a little crazy, but it's a journey that they've been passionate about from day one. Today, we're excited to share the latest chapter in our story - we've moved in to our very first office space🏢

Our journey began with a simple idea: to support mobile developers in architecting, maintaining, and scaling their applications with ease, working from our homes, driven by nothing but our vision and passion.Those early days were filled with late-night brainstorming sessions, energized by endless cups of coffee. 

A Vision for Simplified Dependency Injection

It really begins in 2017 with Arnaud, a developer and tech lead who was frustrated with the complexity and boilerplate of traditional dependency injection frameworks. He saw an opportunity to create a better solution that would make the process of managing dependencies easier, more intuitive, and more efficient. 

With this vision in mind, he set out to design Koin, a dependency injection framework built specifically for the Kotlin programming language. The goal of this open-source project was to make injecting dependencies into your code as simple and straightforward as possible, while also providing all the power and flexibility you need to write great code. And with its simple and intuitive design, Koin is used by thousands of developers around the world and is considered one of the most effective and user-friendly dependency injection frameworks available.

2022: Unveiling Kotzilla 

In 2022, Arnaud together with Michael embarked on an exciting chapter in our journey as they introduced Kotzilla to the world. This marked another significant step in our ongoing mission to provide developers with the finest architecture-focused technologies. The team has been growing ever since 💗

Unlocking the Future: Cloud-inject's Beta Phase Begins

At Droidcon Berlin in July this year, we opened beta testing of our developer platform, Cloud-Inject.Cloud-Inject is a platform  designed to help Koin users gain architectural clarity, so you can build modular and scalable applications. Developers can now better understand their application's architecture behaviour, allowing you to make informed decisions without the need for extensive manual efforts. Here's what Cloud-Inject aims to do:
