So, our first Koin Community Leads Meetup took place on June 18, 2024. This was a great milestone since we first launched the Koin Champions Program.
This event was a fantastic success as we connected with Koin Community leads and discussed the latest updates in Koin.
Purpose of the Meetup
This was the first Meetup since we launched the Koin Champions Program at the start of 2024. Our goal was to connect the Koin Community Leads and provide a platform for Arnaud, the Koin Lead, to share the latest Koin updates directly with them. It was also an opportunity to get their valuable input live, fostering a collaborative and engaging environment.
What is the Koin Champions Program?
As an open-source Kotlin integration framework, Koin thrives on its community-driven spirit. The Koin Champions Program is designed to bring expert Kotlin developers together to promote Koin, open-source development, and community collaboration.

- Integration Highlights: Discussed Koin’s seamless integration with Jetpack Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) projects, and server-side applications.
- New Features: Unveiled the new ViewModel support for Kotlin Multiplatform Projects (KMP) and platform-specific injections for KMP.
- Koin Roadmap: A look at all the upcoming Koin updates, like Koin 4.0.
